We have a dragon! Allow me to introduce you to ‘Storm’, a Dragon Legends wall hanging dragon head display made by Distortions Unlimited. He’s big, he’s beautiful, and he even breathes smoke!
With our love of fantasy and sci-fi, adding some dragon décor to our house was a foregone conclusion, but I saw Distortions post about this and fell in love. We had spent years casually perusing different dragon heads at conventions, but this one needed to be in our living room.
This work of dragon art was sculpted by artist Tom Cassidy, it is made out of latex skin filled with foam and hangs on simple wall bracket. It even included an LED fog machine to hide inside in order for it to ‘breathe’ fire and smoke.
After installing Storm on the wall and watching it billow out smoke a half a dozen times, we sat own and started a Lord of the Rings Marathon on the TV that lives directly beneath him.
Some people might question having a dragon in their living room. I tend to wonder why I didn’t have one in mine sooner.

I feel like I might be a little too excited for this new addition to our family…but dang, I just love it!
