Fall is upon us, and that means a few things: Leaves are changing, school is back in session, Halloween is coming, and pumpkin flavor gets put in EVERYTHING. We decided to make our ‘Basic Training’ pumpkin taste test an annual tradition.
This year we had pumpkin spice flavored; Twinkies, caramel corn, oatmeal, scones, pie, cookie straws, Noosa yogurt, wafers, granola bars, Frosted Flakes, English muffins, chocolate-covered almonds, and marshmallows. Plus we got a bonus of some homemade pumpkin-habanero hot sauce that our friend
Paul at Matador Mexican Grill whipped up. (That happens around 12:47 in the video.)
Why did we call it “Basic Training?” Well, the top definition of basic on Urban dictionary is;
