In 1993 we were introduced to the Nightmare Before Christmas, a stop-motion animated musical dreamed up by Tim Burton and directed by Henry Selick. It was released on VHS almost a year later, on DVD in 1997, and since then has moved from a ‘cult classic’ to a cultural phenomenon that is synonymous with not one, but two major holidays in many people’s minds. Oh, and did we mention it was a real pain the in backside to make? We talk all about the movie in this week’s podcast.
