Squirrel Girl has somehow become the new darling of the Marvel Universe (And why not?…She’s awesome!) Now ABC Studios has decided to give a New Warriors TV show, featuring Squirrel Girl, the green light. Today the announcement was made that Milana Vayntrub will be donning the buck teeth and bushy tail of our beloved Squirrel Girl! At first glance, she might just be a perfect casting.Milana Vayntrub is known for her role as Sloane in ‘This is Us’, but I think I’ll always remember her as the AT&T girl. I’m excited to see what she and Tippy Toe bring to the small screen.

Vayntrub as Squirrel Girl is the news du jour right now. But I have to say I am excited to see the New Warriors brought to life. I was a big fan of them when they first came into the Marvel comic-verse in the early 90s. (I know some of the players have changed…but I’m excited nonetheless.
Who else is going to be in the show?
New Warriors should air 2018. The same year the Marvel will also be releasing a Cloak and Dagger show. Squeeeeee!
What are your thoughts on Squirrel Girl’s casting? (I know a lot of people had their hearts set on Barb from Stranger Things, or Anna Kendrick becoming Doreen Green, but I’m okay with this so far.)
