If you are like us, you hate dropping money on a game you are unsure of. That is why the free games of the month from Xbox and Playstation are so great! Sometimes they are duds, most of the time you get some fun out of them and for no cost. Well, the membership cost, but does that count?This month these are the games that Xbox and Playstation have deemed worthy of the free title.
First up for Xbox live members you have, ‘Speedrunners‘ from June 1st-30th and then ‘Watch_Dogs‘ from June 16th to July 15th.
I just downloaded ‘Speedrunners’ and the little that I played is fun. Its quick and I can see it being a blast with some friends and having fun little competitions. With ‘Watch_Dogs’, I was one of the people that fell for the hype when it was launched. I am not saying it is a bad game, it just wasn’t worth the hype when it came out, as a lot of reviews tore into it. It is a fun game and not a bad story and if you haven’t played it but like open world games with some fun little quirks, then download it. I mean what do you have to lose? Its free!
Xbox also has the backwards compatibility games that they release as free downloads and you have ‘Assassins Creed: III‘ till June 15th and then ‘Dragon Age: Origins‘ from the 16th to June 30th.For Playstation plus members, it’s a pretty solid line-up.
